Why Arise 100x Is So Transformational

A principled-based entrepreneurship program that teaches kids not just HOW to start a business, but WHY they should start a business and the PRINCIPLES that will make starting a business the best decisions these budding entrepreneurs can make.

We want to be clear: we are most concerned with how an entrepreneurship experience changes kids for the better. A successful business venture is a symptom of the change that we hope for.

Arise 100X is focused on preparing kids for their future by teaching principles, not just skillsets. For example, before we help them come up with ideas for a new business, we first teach them the principle of value creation. Our economy is built on the principle of value. If I see your product or service as valuable, then I will be willing to give you money for it. If I want money in my life, then I need to find ways to create value for other people.

The entire program is designed to proceed in the same way. Once the principles are understood, then we teach how to apply them and the skill sets that are necessary for success.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. I have multiple kids that want to join. If they both sign up, do you offer a discount?

Answer: Yes – we feel that every child should start a business before they leave home, whether they want to be a business owner or not. They will learn so many important lessons in this program that will benefit them no matter what they choose to do in their lives. We don’t want the cost to keep anyone out of the program, so we are offering the course to your entire family for the same price. If you would like additional copies of the books then we will ask you to pay for those separately but the videos and other course material will be for the whole family.

2. How much time will my child need to put into starting and running a business?

Answer: While every business is different, we have designed the program to include 2 hours of course work per week. Homework assignments will take another 1-2 hours to complete. From there, it is up to each student to decide how much time they want to dedicate to starting and growing their business. It is important to note, that one of our core principles is to teach kids how to create businesses that will eventually let them free their time. We don’t want them to be self-employed and tied to their job for the rest of their lives. Instead, we want to help them create a system that will make money whether they are working, sleeping, or climbing Mt. Everest.

3. Does my child have to be physically present at classes to participate?

Answer: No. They will be able to participate via distance education from any location. All they will need is a screen and an internet connection.

4. My kids already have an idea for a business; can you help with that?

Answer: Yes! We can take them wherever they are in their journey. What is keeping them from moving forward right now? Money? Time? Knowledge? We can help them take their next step to put their plan into action.

5. Do they need to use the internet to participate?

Answer: Yes. Many of our videos and classes will be done online.

6. Do we, as parents, need to do this with our children?

Answer: That is not necessary, but highly recommended. You will need to do certain things in order to set up a legal entity (when the time is right), but everything else can be done on their own. That being said, parents can be a huge help for their business, and it will give you a chance to work beside them. You might find it fun to see them in a different environment – one where they are calling the shots, we may add.

7. Will it cost more money than the $400 course fee for them to start a business?

Answer: More than likely yes. Every business is a little bit different but most will require more investment to be successful.

8. Should kids pay for their own program fee?

Answer: That is completely up to you as parents but we highly recommend that they work to pay for the program fee. If not before the program starts then you could add the cost to their business startup expenses and they can pay it back with their business profits.

9. We have a group of kids that would like to do this together, do they all need to signup separately?

Answer: No! We have decided to offer the course to co-ops and classes so our policy has changed. When you pay for the course we allow up to 5 participants to join the class. Once you have registered with the first student we will send you an email asking if there are any other students that you would like to add.

10. Is any of this reimbursable by TechTrep, Overture Learning, MyTech High, or other similar programs?

Answer: Yes, money from these programs can be used to pay for the course. You simply pay for the course online and we will send a receipt that can be turned in for reimbursement.
